We use play and stories to create rapport with children, and initiate the dental examination with familiar experiences such as toothbrushing. A toothbrush prophy is a dental cleaning that is done with a toothbrush – rather than with scalers and other metal dental instruments.<\/p>\n
Counting teeth, checking for cavities, and assessing a child’s overall oral health are our goals. We also like to provide encouragement and support during toothbrush prophy cleanings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
